India releases 17-year-old boy after two years
LAHORE: A 17-year-old boy was handed over to the Rangers on Tuesday at the Wagah Border after being imprisoned in a prison in Mumbai for two years. According to a private TV channel, the boy had been accidentally deported by Saudi Arabia to India instead of Pakistan in 2006. The channel reported that the Indian Border Security Force handed him over to the Rangers. Sources said Pakistani officials had taken Ahmed into custody for further investigations, adding that he was reported to be a resident of Dadu. They said no relatives were present to receive him at the Wagah border.
